Target One has a church board who are convicted by God’s call to leadership. In addition to Pastor Phil, our current board members are:
James Gregg, Jr.
A native of Lancaster County, Adam Gonsman moved to the area in 2007 to be closer to his parents. In June 2008 he married his wife, Andrea, and moved to the Cove. Adam and Andrea began attending Target One with the first service in April 2011. They were quickly recruited into the Music and Technology Ministries at Target One and can often be found in the “crow’s nest” behind the sound board and computers. Adam joined the church board as Vice President in the fall of 2011. In his spare time he enjoys reading to increase his knowledge base and, when dragged away from studies, likes playing games and entertaining family and friends. If it is broken and related to computers, chances are Adam and Andrea know how to fix it.
Joe Amick has been attending Target One for approximately four years. In May 2015, he joined the visitation team and in January 2016 accepted the role of being on the church board. Joe worked as a dairy farmer for 33 years. He has been retired for 16 years, but continues to work as crop farmer part-time. Joe lives in Martinsburg with his beautiful wife of 56 years, Alice. He enjoys gardening, taking care of their yard, and spending time with Alice.
Fred Gonsman and his wife, Judy, began attending Target One in 2013 after learning about the church from their son, Adam. Although they were born locally, Fred and Judy spent their career life living in Lancaster County. After several years working in the printing industry, he founded Spectrum Printing, Inc. in East Petersburg, Lancaster County. Fred and Judy moved back to Bedford County for their retirement in 2003. Fred is also an Army veteran, having served for three years after graduating from Northern Bedford County High School. Fred can often be found doing yard work, gardening, or fixing old cars.
